Follow on Google News | Chicagoland Special Spaces To Provide Room Makeover For Boy Battling Duchene’s Muscular DystrohySpecial Spaces, a non-profit organization that creates dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening medical conditions, will be conducting a bedroom makeover for Bolingbrook resident Mathew Kew on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
By: Special Spaces To help complete makeovers, Special Spaces depends on donations from individuals, local businesses, groups and even other foundations. To create Mathew’s Special Spaces is partnering with Adventist Lab Partners and the generosity of Naperville resident, Gary Chinn and business associates. Because of these donors, Mathew will receive a jungle themed room with a new Xbox and TV. Naperville resident Kelly Knox founded the Special Spaces Chicagoland chapter in 2012. Since its inception, over a twenty ill children have gotten room makeovers. Knox has a full slate scheduled for 2014 and a waiting list is in place for many more deserving children.
