Xtel Communications Presents “New E-rate: Not So Simple” Learning Lab at NJSBA 2014 Workshop

October 21, 2014, Marlton/NJ – Xtel Communications announces that it will sponsor a Learning Lab entitled “New E-rate: Not So Simple,” presented and facilitated by noted E-rate consultants Dawn Belden (Education Consortium) and Dan Riordan (On-Tech Consulting, Inc.) at the NJASBA 2014 Workshop & Exhibition on Tuesday, October 28 at 4:00 p.m.

“For twenty years now, we’ve specialized in affordable and reliable communications services for schools,” notes Liz Sorino, Xtel’s Executive Vice President. “Of particular concern this year is the E-rate Modernization order that was issued by the FCC in July. That’s why we are bringing Dawn and Dan together, to help New Jersey schools understand and cope with the new E-rate regulations. They will go through essential E-rate information and allow plenty of time for attendees to ask questions.”

The 2014 Workshop & Exhibition is sponsored by New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) and will take place October 28-30 at The Atlantic City Convention Center. The conference theme, "Looking Back…Leaping Forward,” is a celebration of the New Jersey School Boards Association's 100th anniversary and the progress they have made (and continue to make) in New Jersey to create the best possible educational system. This year’s Workshop will continue the tradition of training on crucial issues such as negotiations, school law, policy, curriculum, technology, STEM, sustainability and other areas vital to effective school district leadership.

Xtel has been exhibiting at Workshop continuously for over 16 years. The “New E-rate: Not So Simple” Learning Lab will take place on Tuesday, October 28 at 4:00 p.m. Xtel will also be exhibiting on the show floor at booth 301/400.
