Drew H. McCreery takes over as Technical Director of Partner's Agency Services Practice

TORRANCE, Calif. - Oct. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Real estate due diligence and construction management expert Drew McCreery has been tapped by Partner Engineering & Science, a California based engineering and environmental construction firm, to lead its dedicated Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae practice.  McCreery is based out of Pasadena, California in the position of Technical Director of Agency Services.

In this role, McCreery oversees Partner’s Agency Practice, ensuring that all due diligence services provided meet the specific scopes as required for Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae loans. McCreery is responsible for the overall quality and consistency of Property Condition and Environmental Reports associated with the agency lenders.

McCreery has over 20 years of experience providing project, engineering and architectural consulting services focused on due diligence and construction management for clients around the country.  His experience working with technical staff and agency lenders has provided him a deep knowledge of the policy, regulatory and quality requirements as they pertain to agency financing.

The addition of Drew McCreery to Partner’s agency practice gives the firm an even stronger foothold in the agency finance market. “Transaction rates continue to climb and depth of resources is increasingly important at this time” said Joseph Derhake, PE, president of Partner. “Recent changes to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines for underwriting standards have added another layer of complexity to the agency lending landscape.  Understanding and being able to navigate these specific requirements is critical to help clients adequately manage risks and close deals.”

Before joining Partner, McCreery worked with a wide range of high profile regional and national clients – including Walker & Dunlop, Berkeley Point Capital LLC, GE Capital Corporation, Capital One Multi-Family Finance, Wells Fargo Bank and Deutsche Bank USA, providing due diligence consulting services in support of thousands of loans and acquisitions. McCreery holds a Bachelor of Architecture from California State Polytechnic University of Pomona, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
