Senior Living Residences Wins Several Accolades at 2014 National Mature Media Awards

BOSTON - Oct. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- BOSTON, MA; October 14, 2014 - Boston-based Senior Living Residences was recently recognized in the 23rd annual National Mature Media Awards Program. The program, presented by the Mature Market Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for the senior market, recognizes the nation’s finest marketing, communications, educational materials, and programs designed and produced for those who are 50 and older, the nation’s fastest-growing population group.

The company's newly renovated website, SeniorLivingResidences.com received a Gold Award in the Website category. The website was a collaboration of the community's management company, Senior Living Residences of Boston, MSN Create, a design group from Manchester, NH and Interactive Palette, a Fall River based web marketing firm.

"The website offers an online experience that is just not seen in the our industry," says Pamela Maloney, Media and Public Relations Manager for Senior Living Residences who also oversaw the website's creation. "Yes, you can get an in-depth overview of our philosophy and communities including photo tours, floor plans, and videos, but you can also find practical information including articles on financial options in assisted living, checklists for families to help determine what kind of support a loved one may need, and an expense calculator to assist in determining the feasibility of different supportive living options. We also offer recipes and cooking tutorials from our award-winning Brain Healthy Cooking Program."

The company was also recognized with silver and merit awards for several photographs depicting life at a Senior Living Residences community that were taken in collaboration with Christopher Navin Photography.

Senior Living Residences newest community, Cornerstone at Milford Assisted Living and Compass Memory Support Neighborhood® in Milford, MA was also recognized for its website. “The site looks great and it offers so much information for seniors and their families, far beyond what you would expect," says Jennifer LaCroix, Executive Director at Cornerstone at Milford.
