Kickstarter Co-founder Charles Adler Featured at Startup Grind Chicago Event

CHICAGO - Oct. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Chicago, Illinois—Startup Grind Chicago will continue their mission of inspiring, educating, and connecting startup entrepreneurs. To this end, the next Startup Grind will host Charles Adler, co-founder of Kickstarter, in a fireside chat, networking, and Q&A event.

The event will focus on startup growth, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask Charles Adler any questions about crowdsourcing, determination, innovation, and creativity.

As the co-founder of Kickstarter, Charles Adler has helped many startups receive millions in funding. When asked why he chose this special guest, Startup Grind Chicago Chapter Director, Tom Denison, said:

During his fireside chat, hosted at Threadless, Adler will discuss how entrepreneurship is about figuring out your purpose and bringing ideas to life. In an interview with Wave Length magazine, Adler stated:

“There is a quote from Mark Twain which says, ‘The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.’ You can only really find out who you are by playing outside the boundaries so [he] urges us all to go out and try interesting things.”

For local Chicago business owners and startups, this Startup Grind Event will take place on October 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Central.
