Jaguar Land Rover Columbia and Sylvan’s Jewelers Raise Over $1,100 for Pawmetto Lifeline

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Oct. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Jaguar Land Rover teamed up with Sylvan’s Jewelers in a fundraiser for Pawmetto Lifeline that was held on September 30 at the Sylvan’s Jewelers location at 1500 Main St. in Columbia. During the event, five percent of everything purchased at the store was donated to the well-respected Midlands area animal rescue organization. By the end of the day, the event, appropriately named “Jaguars and Jewels,”wound up raising over $1,100.

Displayed throughout the store during the one-day fundraiser were photographs of pets available for adoption from Pawmetto Lifeline, each of which were draped in some choice examples of Sylvan’s exquisite jewelry. The photographs were a nice touch, allowing patrons to see some of the animals that would benefit from the fundraiser.

It was a fun event for all those who took part, and it was a great way for Midlands residents to support the non-profit Pawmetto Lifeline in their ongoing efforts at rescuing and finding new homes for pets throughout the region.

The funds raised during “Jaguars and Jewels” will support Pawmetto Lifeline’s mission of making the Midlands a community free of kill-shelters, thereby giving lost or abandoned pets the chance to find a safe and loving home. Pawmetto Lifeline is dedicated to controlling and ultimately ending local pet overpopulation through a combination of education, adoptions, low-cost spay and neuter clinics, and intelligent rescue collaborations.
