Sierra Foothills cult winery Amour Privé finds a home at “Sip”

AUBURN, Calif. - Oct. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- In mid-August of 2014, Sip Auburn opened its new 3,500 square foot multi-winery tasting room with Amour Privé as the host winery. Andre Trush, Amour Privé’s general manager, further expanded the presentation of stellar boutique and cult wines in the new tasting room by inviting Mt. Vernon Winery, Fawnridge Winery, Viña Castellano, and Bear River to join the group. Trush continues his search to add a few more exceptional wineries to the group, scouring all of California, Oregon, and Washington State.

Good Day Sacramento host Mark S. Allen will help introduce the official grand opening of Sip on October 24, and 25, 2014. There will be a live TV broadcast from the tasting room located at 337 Commercial Street in Old Town Auburn, California, on Friday October 24. Trush has traveled thousands of miles promoting Amour Privé’s flagship old-world, handcrafted, Bordeaux styled, Napa wines.

Although the winery is located in Auburn, California, and their world-class grapes are harvested from their leased vineyards in Napa, that didn’t stop Trush from traveling to Santa Monica, Las Vegas, Reno, and beyond in the pursuit of top-rated venues to carry their flagship wines. Small cult and boutique wineries fiercely compete for wine placement in these top-rated venues. After more than a year visiting hundreds of prospective venues, Trush and winemaker/owner Matt Wozniak decided to create their own top-rated home; a trendy, eclectic, and sophisticated multi-winery tasting room in Auburn, California – “Sip” was born.
