GTK Launches new Microwave and RF range

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - Oct. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- GTK announced the launch of a comprehensive range of microwave and RF cable assemblies, connectors and adaptors that can be used in many diverse applications. Supporting maximum frequencies of up 110 GHz, these products can be manufactured across the range of family sizes, from standard through to ultraminiature. All connectors are available in PCB-mount versions or as part of cable assembly, and have 30µ” gold plating on the core contact. The corresponding adaptors are available in either in-series or inter-series configurations.

All cable assemblies are manufactured to customers’ specific requirements using a variety of different cable types. These include standard flexible cable for simple applications; flexible semi-rigid cable that can be hand-formed into basic shapes; and machine-formed semi-rigid cable that permanently holds its shape. Appreciating the need for quality and performance, all cable assemblies are tested for continuity, short circuits, open circuits and contact resistance. Additionally, all production batches are tested for insertion loss and VSWR using network analysers. GTK can provide individual test reports as required by customers.
