News from the Mercedes-Benz Club: A breathtaking display – and a discount for joining

The Mercedes-Benz Club will have a breathtaking display of SLs at the UK’s leading classic car show this year – and anyone joining the Club on its stand will have the normal £5 joining fee waived. NEC Fri - Sun 14th - 16th November.

STAMFORD, U.K. - Oct. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- The Club’s stand at the NEC, number 9-500 in hall nine, will feature both Gullwing and roadster versions of the W198 300SL – the first of the SLs from the 1950s. Alongside will be the 300SL's little brother – a 190SL, a 1960s 280SL Pagoda, a 1980s 420SL, an SL280 from the 1990s and a 2010 SL600.

In addition there will be an example of the first generation of the smaller sports model – the SLK – and a glamorous 1993 E320 cabriolet, which despite its relatively high mileage has won concours awards.

The stand will also house a graphic display of the marque's history in motor sport and a 'big screen' bringing this and the Club's own history to life.
