Amazon Web Services (AWS) Direct Connect available through Interxion Cloud Connect in London

AMSTERDAM - Oct. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- AMSTERDAM – 16th October, 2014 – Today, INTERXION HOLDING NV (http://www.interxion.com/) , a leading European provider of cloud and carrier-neutral colocation data center services, announced that customers can now access AWS Direct Connect (http://aws.amazon.com/directconnect/) through Interxion Cloud Connect.

Due to strong demand for AWS services from all Interxion’s segments (Enterprise, Financial Service, System Integrator and Digital Media), Interxion has joined the APN program as a partner supporting access to AWS Direct Connect, Amazon’s private connect service offering, from the Interxion London data center campus.

Private connections provide dedicated, secure and higher performance networking solutions compared to the public internet and are designed for customers implementing high performance hybrid IT solutions. Interxion Cloud Connect provides a single interface solution to customers colocated in its data centers, enabling a simple and flexible way to build such connections to their cloud provider(s) of choice.
