Julie Foster's Brilliant Winning Ways

STEVENAGE, U.K. - Oct. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- The awards sponsored by Damsels in Success honour fantastic achievement in 10 categories including Woman To Watch, Shining Online and Overcoming Adversity.

When announcing Julie’s success, Damsels founder Lucie Bradbury explained that she was awarding Julie the title, because she epitomises everything that the Community stands for.  In her acceptance speech shocked Julie said that becoming a Director had helped her to step up and achieve greater things.

Julie has been a coach to entrepreneurial women for over 10 years. She enjoys helping all her clients whether they are just starting out or are at the point where their business has grown too big for them and they want to downsize.

Julie truly believes that her enhanced success is due to adopting the Damsels principles which are based on Success With Ease. They include; following a system, being visible, surrounding yourself with a supportive team and being true to yourself.  Julie says: ‘when we live life by those fundamentals, we achieve better results and there isn’t any struggle. I now role model these behaviours and encourage my Damsels In Success members and those that I coach to adopt them too.’

Julie has been Damsels In Success Director for Stevenage for nearly a year: ‘I really love supporting women and showing them that if I can do it so can they! I was amazed when my name was announced as the winning Director.  I followed so many great category winners up onto the stage and just spoke from the heart. I was so touched that my peers, my fellow Directors had voted for me. When I read their comments they said I was their winner because I was always compassionate and willing to help others. I feel truly honoured’

Jennifer Page, a Stevenage member was shortlisted in the Business Growth category at the awards and Jennie Horchover was named as the most inspirational member of the Stevenage Group.

In addition to a glittering celebration at the awards gala dinner, Julie was also treated to an improtu celebration party by her Damsels Members when she held her next meeting at The Cromwell Hotel. ‘It was just lovely,’ Julie says ‘it’s such a lovely supportive community of women helping each other in a totally non competitive way. It’s unlike any group I’ve known before and I urge more ladies to come and join us and perhaps become award winners too’
