By answering a question on the inception of TravelKhana, Mr. Singh revealed that being a avid traveller he realized the immense necessity of food delivery in Indian railways, However having a problem solving approach he quickly observed the scenario and decided to use web technologies to automate the quality food delivery in Trains.

Sharing some interesting insights on the food delivery structure in Indian railways he added that - 1.5 crore long distance train travellers everyday and very few have access to good food during their travel. Out of more then 5000 trains running in India only 300 have pantry cars that too serve unhygienic and how he connected with likeminded people to transform the food experience of Indian railway travellers for always.

On a question of food delivery structure of TravelKhana, Mr. Singh shared how convenient it is to order healthy, fresh and tasty food right from their train seat just by making a simple call. Mr. Pushpinder added that providing good food in trains has been less challenging and more exciting journey so far.

In order to make food delivery and offering more convenience to travellers in food ordering process TravelKhana is offering online ordering and Application order facility also. The more interesting part of the online ordering system is getting massive discounts to save every time you order from the delicious menu of TravelKhana.

Quality and delivery on time are extremely important to us. We do a curative check on the restaurant that includes a combination of various checks like taste, hygiene, kitchen and equipment’s, staff preparedness and more.

Once the restaurant is set up the website' software tracks the progress of the train in real time so that the food is prepared just is time to be delivered to the station when it arrives at the station.

Mr. Pushpinder shared how amazingly TravelKhana integrates restaurants amazingly using a combination of SMS, Quick Email notification and a Mobile App available to work smoothly.

On the future plan of the company he shared that TravelKhana currently serving more then 1500- 2000 meals a day which is growing 20 to 25 per cent per month and int he current financial year they are planning to increase the number of services stations by 250.
