Follow on Google News | Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County Celebrates Make A Difference Day at the Salinas ClubhouseBoys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County (BGCMC), in partnership with the Gannett Foundation and the Salinas Californian, will celebrate Make A Difference Day by inviting community volunteers to complete special improvement and maintenance projects at the Salinas Clubhouse. These projects will enhance the Club experience for thousands of youth and their families who depend on the programs and services of the Club facility every day. Staff and community volunteers will meet from 9 a.m.to 2 p.m. at the Salinas Clubhouse (85 Maryal Dr). Projects will include planting flowers in the garden, painting the Teen Center, organizing storage spaces, cleaning carpets, and much more. Lunch will be provided. Over 95% of the total budget comes from generous individuals, corporations and foundations.
