Many women are attracted to the Banking and Financial Services sector - with women making up 55.8% of the industry. Unfortunately, this equality does not extend to the leadership level where women comprise 33.6% of managers and only 7.5% of CEOs. The gender pay gap in the financial and insurance services also stands at 31.9%, compared to the Australia wide gap of 17.1%.

The Women in Banking and Financial Services Leadership Summit 2015 is designed to focus on the opportunities, rather than the obstacles, for women to progress their careers in the sector. The Summit will provide an exceptional platform for women to share their practical advice and guidance on the key skills required for effective leadership in the sector and navigating a path to success.
