By: Carlisle Events The tour, which has nine stops nationally, will be taking place on Thursday, October 16 at Citizen’s Bank Park in Philadelphia. Home to the Phillies from April to October, the ball park will be transformed into a home for Mustang lovers of all ages and backgrounds. The main draw for the tour is to showcase the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang. Guests attending will not only be able to see the Mustang up close, but will also be able to get in and take it for a spin around the park on a specially designed course. In addition, representatives from Ford will be onsite to answer questions about the car and better inform enthusiasts on Ford’s latest offering of its iconic muscle car. There is a special luncheon planned for Mustang Club Members, a Q&A session scheduled and more. While Ford is hosting all things related to the new Mustang, Carlisle Events has been asked to leverage its position within the collector car hobby to organize and execute a Mustang-only- “Carlisle Events is honored to be involved with Ford and for this special Mustang showcase at Citizen’s Bank Park,” noted Ken Appell, Carlisle Ford Nationals Event Manager. “Our relationship with our local Quality Plus Ford Dealers and the enthusiasts who drive their vehicles has seen a tremendous upswing in recent years and we’re looking forward to interacting with everyone in Philadelphia this week,” continued Appell. “When Ford brought its 2015 Mustang to our Carlisle Ford Nationals event in June, there was an unmatched level of excitement that followed the car’s every move. Now that the car is ready to be driven by would-be owners, I can only imagine the turnout this event will see. Plus, with Carlisle Events hosting the Mustang-themed car display in conjunction with Ford’s festivities, I cannot think of a better way to support them, expose our company to a stadium of Ford lovers and to continue our great partnership with Ford.” The activities in Philadelphia begin at 10 a.m. on the 16th and run through late afternoon. Further, there is a large amount of clubs participating to support the show too. Those car clubs include the Shelby American Automobile Club (SAAC) of New Jersey, the Garden State Regional Mustang Club (GSRMC), NJStangers, Lehigh Valley Region SAAC, South Jersey Mustang Club, Team Shelby Northeast, PhillyStangs, Valley Forge Mustang Club, First State Mustang and Ford Club, Berks County Mustang Club, North Central Mustang Club, and the Mustang Club of Central PA.
