NEW YORK - Oct. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- What is the most popular form of cancer, and why? Breast Cancer of course is by far the most celebrated of all the cancers, and no doubt the most visible all over the world.  If you didn't know better, it would be easy to forget all about the other 200 cancers that are known to humans.  How did breast cancer become so famous?

Pink uniforms from head to toe, and newly painted trucks for Firemen, Florida headlines for pink cruiser purchased especially for officer going through breast caner as we speak.  There's even a pink waterfall … everything, everywhere is pink!  Ever wonder where all this money comes from?  Which budget has these kinds of discretionary funds?

Annual walks, runs, brunches, teas, hat parties, and even pink coffee - the list goes on while raking in the BILLIONS!  How much of this goes to breast cancer patients you ask?  Outside of a FREE Mammogram, for some - not much!

Some argue that money raised throughout the month of October for breast cancer efforts is mostly used to fund research, including, but not limited to new technology, medicine, equipment, and/or new clinical trials for medcine to treat patients, but not to find a cure. Remaining dollars often go toward administration and planning next year's events.

Patients are sometimes left out of the loop, many of whom report losing everything while fighting the disease and sometimes landing in bankruptcy court - according to them, it’s time to tip the scale towards patients.

Industry includes doctors, anesthesiologists, surgeons, hospitals, colleges, universities, givernment, and research firms - all making billions, while patients lose their homes, cars, jobs, and some in fighting insurance companies regarding short and long-term disability claims.  Watch video for yourself …

According to producers of the video, industry leaders should be ashamed of themselves for leaving patients out of the loop, and they’re calling for change.  The artist (Trina Preach) is available for radio, TV, and or online blog interview.  Please respond to this writer if you would like to get in touch, and hear more songs about breast cancer.
