“Breaking Bread DMV” Returns November 22, 2014 With 3,600 Lunch Goal

WASHINGTON - Oct. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- “Breaking Bread DMV” started in February 2014 as a volunteer effort consisting of independent artists, advocates and philanthropists. In August, the most-recent installment of #BreakingBreadDMV presented by Will Rap 4 Food, Inc. and Bleu Royalty Productions set record numbers for the event. It attracted over 175 volunteers to Covenant House Washington DC to pack and deliver 3,524 lunches for clients of Martha’s Table and residents of New York Avenue Men’s Shelter, Community for Creative Non-Violence Shelter and for direct distribution to the city’s homeless. On November 22, the Breaking Bread DMV team once again invites the public to help meet the goal of packing and delivering 3,600 lunches.
