Several of the best and premier photographers in the Seattle & Tacoma area have assembled and sent some of their amazing photographs captured within Browns Point and Dash Point areas. In addition to this, the Facebook page features amazing and interesting comments about the community. The Facebook page is run by three people:  Meilee Anderson, also responsible for managing the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad Facebook Page;  Rob Lohr a local Browns Point photographer; and  David Berg, a local realtor in Browns Point, who began the Facebook community page in 2010.

Located in Washington State's Pierce County, Browns Point is part of Tacoma, Washington. It's sometimes considered Federal Way or, more correctly, Northeast Tacoma. Originally called Point Harris, from a sail maker on Wilkes Expedition named Alvin Harris, the community was renamed later by local folks for a previous landowner.  Browns Point Lighthouse is located at the tip of Browns Point – which now is completely automated and was once completely manned and initially lit in December of 1887.

Browns Point is supported by the Browns Point Improvement Club, also known by locals as BPIC. (www.brownspoint.org), which owns majority of the land next to the lighthouse. The Browns Point Improvement Club is well-known for the infamous Browns Point Salmon Bake. Commenced in by Jerry Meeker, a Puyallup tribe member and pioneer of Browns Point, in 1940s, the festival is held during the month of August’s first weekend in years ending in even numbers.

"I couldn't manage all the content on the page without the help of Meilee Anderson and Rob Lohr.", says David Berg, a local realtor in the area.
