BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - Oct. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- ASM Systems Ltd. today released an iOS client for its popular Gruveo video calling service. Gruveo for iOS allows making easy, secure and anonymous video calls on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and is fully compatible with the browser app enjoyed by Gruveo’s desktop and Android users. The iOS launch marks Gruveo’s expansion to the third major platform after desktop and Android earlier this year.

The Gruveo app for iOS works on all modern iOS devices and offers features such as video and voice calling, background mode and text chat. The app is fully compatible with the new iOS 8 as well as iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Gruveo for iOS is built on the WebRTC technology. It boasts seamless interoperation with the Gruveo browser application at www.gruveo.com, offering encrypted, peer-to-peer calls from iOS to desktop, Android, or other iOS clients.

“After launching an Android-compatible version of Gruveo in July, it was only a matter of time before we expanded to other mobile platforms,” said Art Matsak, ASM Systems CEO. “Today, we are bringing our vision of the world’s easiest video calls to iOS.”
