The Hole Donuts at St Pete Localicious

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Oct. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- St Petersburg, FL, 10/13/14 - The Hole Donuts is pleased to announce their upcoming appearance at St Pete's Localicious on Friday October 17th 6 PM - 10 PM. Ride aboard the The Grand Treats & Tunes Trolley Hop to join The Hole at 17th Street and Central Ave in the Grand Central District. The Hole is paired with The Burg Bar & Grill (http://theburgbar.com/), The Hideaway Cafe (http://www.hideawaycafe.biz/) and live music from Jim Gilmour (6:30-9:30).

Through the encouragement of local businesses and the grass roots efforts of Keep St Petersburg Local The Hole has another opportunity to show off their amazing donuts. They will have a tent set up on the sidewalk outside of The Burg and The Hideaway offering gourmet donuts made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Thanks to the very warm welcome by the Grand Central community, The Hole was able to secure a spot on 17th St to show off their brand of eclectic donut crafting. Downtown residents and businesses are beginning to get a taste of the Hole through Brew D'Licious Coffee Shop's Donut Wednesdays and The St Pete Indie Market. The goal is to introduce an ever expanding audience to The Hole's delectable treats and increase their presence within the downtown St. Pete community.

What donuts?

The Hole Donuts will be offering 4 donut varieties for Trolley Hop riders. Two new donut varieties with a seasonal flair will be offered to Localicious participants.

Inspired by The Garden of Eden, the first is a new seasonal creation is called The Adam & Eve. This donut is a first step into a bit of savory donut making. The donut is filled with cream cheese Danish filling topped with a fig infused balsamic and fig jam glaze. This donut will make its premier at Brew D'Licious Coffee Shop's Donut Wednesdays on the 15th.

Second is also a new seasonal creation Great Pumpkin donut. This donut is pumpkin pie inspired with a fried twist. The donut is filled with creamy pumpkin pie filling topped with a pumpkin spiced glaze and ginger snap pie crust crumble.

The third donut, The Diablo Caliente, is a spicy Mexican chocolate glazed donut topped with a chocolate covered habañero slice.

And last, but not at all least, is the ever popular Elvis Donut. Inspired by The King himself, this donut is filled with creamy peanut butter filling topped with peanut butter glaze with fresh sliced bananas and crispy bacon.
