KOR Gym Participates in the One Hour Long Cycle Event to Benefit Kettlebell 4 Autism Charity

SAN DIEGO - Oct. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO, CALIF. (October 13, 2014) KOR Strength and Conditioning will be participating in the One Hour Long Cycle Event Saturday, October 18 at 11:00am – 12:00pm PST. KOR is a kettlebell gym in San Diego, CA that specializes in sport performance, conditioning, and kettlebell competition training. KOR has been a participant in numerous fundraisers that have benefited San Diego County and is anticipating a large turnout for Kettlebell 4 Autism, which will also be celebrating its 5 year anniversary.

KOR is the San Diego satellite location and one of the 61 locations across 13 countries that will be participating worldwide. The One Hour Long Cycle Event (1HLC) raises money for the Association for Science in Autism Treatment. The One Hour Long Cycle is an annual kettlebell lifting charity event that allows people from around the world to come together for 60 minutes and lift together, to raise funds and bring awareness to a different charitable organization each year. Previous years have included participants in Japan, Canada, Kazakhstan, the United States, and Singapore, and fundraising for Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, Japanese Tsunami Relief, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

All funds raised will be donated to the Association for Science in Autism Treatment (ASAT). Funds raised from this event will contribute to ASAT’s goal of creating and disseminating an information resource for parents and other caregivers of newly diagnosed children.
