Parker Projects are a collaboration between Bill Fuller of Barlington Group and Eric Ginsburg, a well-known artist and Founding Director of the innovative Fridge Art Fair. They conceived the Garage and Parker Projects as works in progress, ever-evolving like art and the artists themselves, e with the intention to engage the Miami audience in a dialogue about our culture and society that is equally thought provoking and entertaining. The “Pairs… exhibition, curated by Q NYC’s Joanna Stokes, presents Ginsburg’s critically acclaimed dog paintings alongside artist Linda DiGusta’s expressive drawings of pears, including collaborations with the late abstract painter Mark Wiener, all evoking the varied faces of Love. “Freezer Pops” showcases the depth of talent and vision of the artists who regularly present at Fridge Art Fair in Miami and New York. Proceeds of the Halloween Gala will continue to support many of these artists as well as opening opportunities for new talent and emerging dealers that are not otherwise available in the “big bucks” art fair scenario. Exhibitions on view through November 23, after which The Garage is proud to host Fridge Miami 2014, December 4-8.
