LOS ANGELES - Oct. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Earlier today The Price is Right demonstrated their support of local Los Angeles based craftsmen through the show’s uniquely curated prizes. At 10am (PST), airing on CBS, the stunning necklace dubbed, “The Princess Piece” was featured among the variety of sensational prizes offered to the lucky contestants. Amy Ming, head designer of Amy Ming, LLC, and owner of Amy Ming Jewelry Boutique on 5652 W. 3rd St. was sought out by the show’s production team for her uniquely alluring and luxurious pieces. After having tracked her down and meeting in person with her in her boutique, they were eager to collaborate with Amy in their efforts to gain a younger, glamour-savvy audience viewership.

From a handful of options, emerged the selection of “The Princess Piece,” a stunning textural ensemble of hand faceted Crystal Quartz, Milky Quartz, and Fresh Water Pearl strands arranged in a twisting fashion and completed with a drop pendant, that had been bezel set onto sterling silver. Amy indicated that this was among the most popular pieces in her boutique and was proud to have it represent her brand and work on national television. The Amy Ming jewelry line boasts a plethora of one of a kind precious and semi-precious jewelry set in 14K gold, gold vermeil, sterling silver, and brass. One of the more captivating aspects of her work, is that not only is it all assembled by hand, but often times the stones themselves have been fashioned by hand as well. Amy’s natural instinct for quality stone and material selection is evident in the treasure trove that is her boutique. She attests that this is due to her fondness of unusually unique and scarce stones, in that they simply, “call to you”. After over 25 years in business, her astute ability has expanded to forging out new and distinct features in the stones themselves. While often recognizing the value that belies the superficial surface of certain stones, Amy has them carved into custom designs that reveal their inner beauty and unearths their true worth.

“The Princess Piece” is an exemplary piece of work in that it illustrates all of Amy’s aforementioned talent, skill, and dedication to her craft. Retailing at $2,200 it truly boasts an understated, yet striking sense of divine glamour, which was exactly what the Price is Right folks were looking for. When asked about her overall experience with the show, Amy, gracious as always, responded, “It was a real honor to be featured on the program.”
