Oct. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Mercy Flight Southeast (http://www.mercyflightse.org/), whose mission is provide free air transportation to children and adults in need of specialized, hard-to-get-to medical treatment will benefit from the upcoming Aviation Professionals Golf Classic, presented by BizJet.

The golf tournament will be held on Monday, October 20, at ChampionsGate Golf Club in Orlando. The event gets underway at 10:30 a.m. where golfers and their guests can watch professional trick-shot entertainer Dan Boever at the #10 tee box on ChampionsGate’s Greg Norman-designed International Course.

A shotgun start begins at 11:30 and the day rounds out with cocktails, dinner and awards at 4:30 p.m.

The scramble format tournament benefits Mercy Flight Southeast which is made up of nearly 650 private pilots who volunteer their time and planes to transport patients to life-saving medical care. Mercy Flight Southeast “care traffic controllers” coordinate approximately 3,000 flights each year, 24/7. While the pilots volunteer their time and planes, Mercy Flight Southeast relies on donations to pay for services that keep their passengers and pilots in the air.
