Davonna Livingston Is Coming to St. Louis in 2015!

Oct. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- As the founder and executive director of the nonprofit, Changing Perceptions, Davonna Livingston works with local, state and national organizations to increase abuse awareness and education.

Based on a curriculum of writing, life skills and mental health counseling, Changing Perceptions focuses on helping victims of abuse rebuild their lives and feelings of control.

Now living in Portland, Oregon, Davonna is also a wife, mother and author of the book, Voices Behind the Razorwire, which documents her journey toward understanding her own childhood abuse.

In addition to her work with Changing Perceptions, Davonna is also involved in the following:

She is a member of the Multnomah County Speakers Board where she presents to and educates the public on behalf of the Criminal Sexual Exploitation of Children Bureau.

She is a member of the Gresham Chamber of Commerce

She is a literacy tutor and assists high risk individuals with acquiring their GEDs.

She is a member in good standing of the Family Violence Coalition Committee
