Homes for Our Troops® Partners with "Operation Build" for Special TV Series on History Channel & H2

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. - Oct. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Insight Television Productions, LLC is proud to introduce their partnership with Homes for Our Troops®, whose mission is to build specially adapted homes for severely injured veterans across the nation, and to help enable them to rebuild their lives. Join them for a special TV reality mini series that features the stories of three military heroes on “I’m Coming Home” presented by Operation Build.  Hosted by celebrity Alexi Panos, the first episode airs on the History Channel November, 8^th at 7:30am (ET/PT), and November 15^th at 7:30am (ET/PT) on H2.

In this first “I’m Coming Home” episode you’ll meet Purple Heart Recipient and Army Sergeant, Anne Oravec,  hear her story and see first hand how Alexi and her Home Coming Building Team help Anne make improvements around her home.

In September 2003 during Anne’s deployment, she was heading out to provide security for a large convoy just outside of Fallujah, when the convoy was attacked and an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated under their armored vehicle. Her body and head suffered shrapnel fragments from the blast, but remarkably she recovered and eventually rejoined her unit. Anne completed her service in 2008, and later settled in Colorado in 2011 to pursue her dream of starting a cake design and bakery business.
