PODS® of Lexington donates its services to “A CAT’s Tale,” Children’s Literacy Festival

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Oct. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- PODS of Lexington is lending its services to Child Advocacy Today (CAT) for “A CAT’s Tale,” a beloved children’s book festival tailored for ages 2 through 12. The event is intended to bring children’s literature to life through interactive exhibits with painted backdrops, costumes and activities. PODS will be donating a PODS container to store various materials throughout the storybook exhibits.

The exhibits, also known as activity centers, are created and staffed by students at the University of Kentucky, and will be placed along a quarter mile stretch of the walking trail at The Arboretum’s State Botanical Garden of Kentucky.

“We’re happy to lend a helping hand to Child Advocacy Today, ‘A CAT’s Tale',” expresses Ken Kocon, General Manager of PODS of Lexington. “By donating the PODS container, it will ensure that the festival is organized and running smoothly by storing the much-needed materials for these fun literacy exhibits for children.”

Admission to the festival is $5, and proceeds benefit CAT Legal Clinic.
