Super Lawyer Robert Swetnick’s practice areas include serving as outside counsel to high net worth individuals and businesses. Mr. Swetnick has a strong history of success in cases involving hospitality law.

Alan Van Praag handles contract disputes involving the maritime, petroleum, natural resources, banking, auto, and construction industries. Mr. Van Praag has been appointed to the U.S. Secretary of State’s Advisory Committee on Private International Law. He has a long history of achieving strong results for his clients.

Edward Floyd was named a Rising Star for 2014 and has success as a commercial litigator in complex disputes involving maritime transportation, and commodities trading. Rising stars are those lawyers who are 40 years or younger or who have been in practice for 10 years or less. Mr. Floyd has also obtained landmark decisions protecting free speech rights.

Robert Rickner is EVW’s other rising star. His practice areas include contract and commercial litigation, Civil Rights litigation and he has broad experience in state and federal courts. Mr. Rickner has successfully represented municipalities, large corporations, retailers, real estate and insurance companies, and entrepreneurs.
