Thanksgiving Day Feast To Be Held At Dunes' Back Bay Bistro

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - Oct. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Those looking to avoid the hassle of preparing (and cleaning up after) Thanksgiving dinner may find the Back Bay Bistro at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina an ideal destination.  Featuring spectacular bay views, the critically acclaimed Newport Beach restaurant will offer more than just the traditional oven-roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and trimmings.  Guests also will enjoy short ribs and prime rib carved to order or, if they prefer, grilled salmon with dill cream sauce.

         Executive Chef Bruno Massuger will prepare field greens with apples and dried cherries in a walnut vinaigrette; asparagus salad; beets with goat cheese; caprese salad; roasted Brussels sprouts with balsamic dressing; walnut stuffing, rice pilaf, mac 'n cheese, shallot mashed potatoes, candied yams, sweet peas, green beans, creamed spinach, roasted corn, cranberry relish; corn bread and assorted rolls.

         Topping off the meal are traditional pumpkin, caramelized apple and pecan pies.

         Hours for Back Bay Bistro's Thanksgiving Day buffet are 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Cost for adults is $45 and children 10 and under $19.
