CIMdata to be Featured in Webinar on Model-Based Systems Engineering

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Oct. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- CIMdata, Inc., the leading global PLM strategic management consulting and research firm announces that John MacKrell, Vice President, will address the business opportunities and implementation challenges facing engineering teams as they implement model-based systems engineering (MBSE) technology and processes, in an upcoming webinar hosted by ANSYS.

MacKrell will report on industry best practices and lessons learned based on CIMdata’s decades of experience and a recent MBSE survey conducted with ANSYS. The initial summary results of the survey will be presented. Areas where MBSE processes and tools are being effectively used today, as well as areas for improvement that promise the greatest future business impact will be highlighted. The webinar is intended to help senior engineering managers to understand how to formulate an assessment of the baseline maturity of their own organizations with respect to implementing MBSE capabilities.
