The player must hold their nerve in competition against other bidders, make a smart play to walk away with the goods, and hopefully a tidy profit. In this update, among the bidders are three new characters; winners of a competition run on GameDigits' Facebook page, in which fans of Auction Wars could become actual characters in the game. Auction Wars fan and video-gaming YouTuber WAFLNeo was among the lucky ones and now appears in the game. He commented, "Auction Wars is one of the best mobile games I have played, I even started a YouTube series to showcase the game's addictive, yet unpredictable gameplay!"
