"Serenity" at Richard Boyd Art Gallery November 1-30

PORTLAND, Maine - Oct. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- (Portland, ME) Richard Boyd Art Gallery opens "Serenity" an annual exhibition of paintings by gallery artists on November 1, at 10:00 a.m.  The exhibit features a selection of paintings in a variety of styles and media that evoke feelings of tranquility or calmness in the viewer. On view are paintings by artists' Katharine Cartwright - watercolor on paper and oil on canvas; Pam Cabañas - monochromatic ink wash on paper; Rob Anderson - oil on canvas; Amy Bickford - acrylic based gouache on gesso board; and Bob Santandrea - pastel on paper.

The exhibit is open free of charge to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through November 30, 2014. Additional days and times by appointment. Richard Boyd Art Gallery is located on Peaks Island, ME at the corner of Island Avenue and Epps Street, in the first building on the right, on the first floor.
