Brooklyn Tankard Pampers With A Purpose- Breast Cancer Awareness

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Oct. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Brooklyn Tankard, better known as Queen Brooklyn of hit Bravo Tv reality show, Thicker Than Water has partnered with the Greater Nashville Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the National Consortium of Black Women in Ministry (NCBWIM) and Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church to present the Worship in Pink Weekend (WIP).
The Worship in Pink Weekend (WIP) scheduled for October 10-12th, 2014 (x-apple-data-detectors://1) will help spread awareness through a breast cancer education and awareness outreach initiative in Middle Tennessee.

The WIP weekend will begin with the ”PAMPERING WITH A PURPOSE” event which will provide women with the essentials to staying healthy and pamper them with free beauty services. Women will be provided with information concerning health issues common to women, such as: mammograms, bra fittings, exercise classes, cooking classes and healthier life-style choices. In addition to health education women will be pampered with facials, massages, clothing giveaways, hair care and nail care. Queen Brooklyn will be present for participants to meet and greet with her and she will be doing giveaways from her luxury hair and eyelash line. If you know anything about her, you know that she is all about giving back, empowering women, and being glamorous. Queen Brooklyn loved the Pampering With A Purpose concept so much, that she brought in her own team to provide additional services to the women who will attend this annual event. Queen Brooklyn is proud to announce that some of her most talented team members confirmed their attendance as well: Celebrity MUA Brittany Pope, Wardrobe Stylist Wesley Carr, Royalti Nails, First Lady PR, Esthetics by P. Brown, Celebrity Hair Stylist Kawanna Brit and many others have all committed to this worthy cause.

The powerful grand finale for Worship in Pink Weekend, will be the “8th ANNUAL PINK SUNDAY” worship service to celebrate life, increase awareness and inspire hope to those affected by breast cancer:

Pink Sunday/Worship in Pink is a grassroots city-wide ecumenical faith service with local churches, synagogues, and mosques to educate their respective members on breast health and breast cancer. Hundreds of churches will join in the effort to Celebrate Life, Increase Awareness, and Inspire Hope regarding breast health by hosting activities and encouraging members to wear pink.
