Author Joe Chyla Announces Book Promo With Jacksonville's Brooklyn Pizza

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Oct. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Brooklyn Pizza store owner Tony Renna and Joe Chyla, both former Brooklyn residents have chatted over the years about the city that remains close to their hearts. During a recent conversation their discussion about the life and times of Brooklyn as reflected in Chyla's book led to an out-of-the-box idea.

“At first we were just talking about the old days when we were growing up in Brooklyn. The next thing you knew we realized this would be a great way to enhance the Brooklyn theme of the restaurants.  It’s sort of like the coffee shops are doing with books and CDs, and I think Brooklyn Pizza customers will love the idea.”

At Renna's request, one or more of Jacksonville's Brooklyn Pizza restaurants will have copies of Brooklyn Days Brooklyn Nights, a Crime Story, available for sale. Chyla sees this as a great idea for providing pizza customers with a taste of Brooklyn, literally speaking.

Final details are being worked out and Brooklyn Pizza store owner, Renna is excited about his truly novel idea. Books are expected to be available in the restaurants as soon as Thanksgiving according to author Joe Chyla Sr.
