Oct. 16^th is National Feral Cat Appreciation Day so we are celebrating with Jill Rappaport’s PIES4PAWS Challenge ™to benefit the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals NYC Feral Cat Initiative!

Retailers, media and vendors will come together on October 16, 2014 for the NYC Retails & Sales Expo Natural Event Showcase for Made in the USA Pet Products. The first time ever ‘Made in America’ event in February was a huge success.

This year’s Natural Event Showcase is expected to be bigger and better than before. This boutique pet expo, showcasing American crafted and sourced pet products, will be held in NYC at the historical Pennsylvania Hotel from 2:00pm – 8:00pm.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:

o   At 2PM the event kicks off with a LIVE National Anthem with Singer Megan Cooper

o   At 5PM Jill Rappaport’s Pie for Paws – She will be putting PIE in the Face of willing donors to raise $$ for the Feral Cat Initiative

This event is the perfect opportunity for pet retailers in the New York City and surrounding areas to meet the makers of fabulous American-made pet products. Press and pet celebrities will be in attendance as well as retailers traveling from distances including Boston, CT, NJ and Long Island to see and shop “Made in USA” for natural products for their pet stores.

Jill Rappaport, NBC Correspondent, Award-Winning Animal Advocate and Authorwill be joining the expo at 5:00pm along with “Jill Rappaport's Pies For Paws” challenge!

Jill recently introduced this innovative challenge by taking a pie to her own face at an adoption event in order to raise awareness and funds for millions of animals in need of their forever home.

October 16^th is the 14^th Annual National Feral Cat Day, which was created by the Alley Cat Allies:a nonprofit advocacy organization whose mission is to transform and develop communities to protect and improve the lives of cats. Jill’s Pies for Paws challenge will benefit and raise awareness for feral cats on this special day.
