WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Oct. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Red Bull, one of the world’s best known energy drinks, has agreed to pay more than $ 13 million to settle a class action lawsuit that claimed the company falsely advertised Red Bull products.

The company “settled the suit to avoid the cost of litigation,” Red Bull said in a statement send to Abasto. The proposed deal would include a payment for millions of people who bought at least one can of Red Bull in the past 10 years.

Under the agreement, those who decide to proceed with the lawsuit have the option to receive a cash refund of $ 10 or two free products of Red Bull with an approximate retail value $ 15. Red Bull also agrees to cover the shipping costs for refunds.
