Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Presents Dance for the Kids Sponsored by Audi Hilton Head

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Oct. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head (VIM) will be hosting their premier fundraising event of the year on Saturday, November 15. The Dance for the Kids gala will take place at the Hilton Head Island Westin Resort & Spa from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and it is sure to be an entertaining evening and a great way to celebrate children. The gala will be sponsored by the leading Hilton Head Island Audi dealer, Audi Hilton Head.

The gala opens with a cocktail reception, followed by food and wine at a seated dinner. The evening continues with live and silent auctions, then music and dancing.

Headlining the fundraiser will be Hilton Head’s own Lavon Stevens Band featuring vocalist Louise Spencer. One of the Lowcountry’s finest performers, Lavon Stevens plays multi-keyboards and sings across a repertoire ranging from jazz and blues to upbeat contemporary and top 40 dance tunes. Louise Spencer is known for her amazing voice and has worked with a wide variety of Lowcountry entertainers. Additionally, she has released several recordings.

The Dance for the Kids event is a wonderful way to enjoy an evening of dining and dancing, all to benefit the important work being done by Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head.

Providing free and comprehensive medical and dental care to children whose families cannot afford such services, VIM has served the Lowcountry community since 1993. Proceeds from the event will help fund and support the wide range of services they provide to local children and their families.
