Sales Education Foundation Announces Milestone in Programming

Non-profit SEF helps students more accurately and responsibly navigate career landscape

DAYTON, Ohio - Oct. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- The SEF recently celebrated a major milestone in one of its core programs, the Career Development Program.  Through the support of donors and Chally Group Worldwide, the program has now assisted over 10,000 university students studying professional sales.  The non-profit foundation provides this opportunity to students at no personal cost.  Results and available manuals allow students to more accurately and responsibly navigate the career landscape.

Many university sales programs participate in this programming on an annual basis, giving their students the unique opportunity to experience a real-world hiring assessment.  As of October 1, 2014, over 70 universities have used the program.  SEF receives testimonials from students, as one recent sales graduate expressed her appreciation as follows: “As a senior (my Chally Assessment results) helped me evaluate multiple job offers and choose the one best suited to my skills and interest.”

Recent research supports the findings that sales education at the university level affords students an excellent ROI on their educational investment.  According to Baylor University research, the average student in a sales program has 2.8 job offers before graduation.  Additionally, the US Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics reports the median salary for professional sales roles from 2013 to be +$74,000.00.
