ATLANTA, GA (October 6, 2014)—Kevin Shine (C. E. O. of the F.I.R.M. and Creator of Writing Sessions of America #WSAATL) is hosting the 2014 WSAATL “Music Experience” Singer/Songwriter Retreat. This historical event will bring together a diverse group of: legendry composers, music engineers, artists and musicians, to raise awareness of key music industry players (internationally)
and help establish a support base. As a Consultant and A&R Executive at Reckless Recordings, Shine understands the inner-workings of business management in the music industry. He states, “The business, financial and management techniques that worked less than a decade ago are seldom used today. As a matter of fact very few artist, writers, producers, etc., actually maximize their access; hence, the theme of this year’s retreat, ‘Old School Rules with New School Tools’.” The retreat will be comprised of workshops, seminars and networking events throughout Atlanta. Shine explains, “Our ongoing commitment during this retreat is to: inform, enhance and prepare attendees with the necessary tools needed to increase their resources and utilize their gifts, skills and experiences. We want them to build better business models to yield successful careers. We want to assist them with preparation and help polished their crafts for smooth entrance into a highly competitive music industry.” He continues, “We are providing in-depth and highly informative panels that consist of renowned seasoned music professionals who know the ‘ins and outs’ of the industry and are willing to share their knowledge.” Retreat participants will be given the option to submit and/or perform their music live and expect to receive honest and constructive feedback from each panelist.
