Holly Breuer, Purk & Associates, P.C., Selected One of Small Business Monthly's 2014 Top Executives

ST. LOUIS - Oct. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- October 6, 2014  (St. Louis) – Holly Breuer, CPA, ABV, director at Purk & Associates, P.C., the leading, independently owned St. Louis-based accounting and management advisory firm, was recently selected as one of Small Business Monthly’s “2014 Top Executives,” where she was featured in the October issue.

Breuer shared in the article profile she is driven just by the idea of doing her best each day. She is quoted as saying, “I’m more about the daily wins – my own or those of fellow team members – than a major accomplishment. I am, however, always grateful when a client appreciates my work.”

Breuer is one of the original founding team members of Purk & Associates when the firm was founded in 2009. Her areas of expertise are compliance and regulatory consulting, business advisory, and mergers and acquisition planning and consultation.  Her clients include real estate developers, manufacturers, and professional service companies, many of which operate in multiple states across the country.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).  In 2012, Breuer was selected as one of the “Women to Watch” by the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), and she received the Accredited Business Valuation (ABV) certification from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) in 2013.  Holly has also been named one of Small Business Monthly’s “Top Small Business Accountants” by its readers in 2012 and 2014.

Breuer is active in the St. Louis community where she currently serves as Finance Chair for the Board of Directors for St. Elizabeth’s Adult Day Care Centers. She is frequently asked to present to associations and charitable organizations about tax trends and year-end planning.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Fontbonne University.
