PRLog -- By popular demand, the Boston Musician Hangout (formerly the Boston Songwriter & Musician Hangout) will return to The Red Room @ Cafe 939 on October 20, 2014 for a night of incredible open mic performances, fun jam sessions, meaningful networking opportunities, free food and beverages, and prize giveaways.

, the free, all ages event will provide a unique opportunity for Boston-area musicians and songwriters of all skill levels, instruments, and genres to share their music and spark potential collaborations. SongwriterLink and MusicTown share the same vision of using every avenue possible to bring together potential collaborators, and they hope attendees will find new co-writers, jam partners, band members, or even friends through the event’s casual and supportive environment.
Mics, drums, amps, cables, and a baby grand piano will be provided for the open mic and open jam, courtesy of The Red Room. Signups start at 6:30 PM, but anyone wishing to participate in the open mic or open jam is strongly encouraged to RSVP at
