Christopher Guy Visionary Founder To Receive Lifetime Achievement Award

NEW YORK - Oct. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- NY, October 6th, 2014 --- Iconic furniture brand Christopher Guy’s visionary founder, CEO and chief designer, Christopher Guy Harrison, will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from Hyland Magazine, Editor-in-Chief and Founder of Christopher Hyland Textile Company, Christopher Hyland, at the digital magazine’s Annual Awards Ceremony and Party, at 6pm on Wednesday, October 15^th, to be held in the state-of-the-art 20,000 sq ft Christopher Guy Showroom on the top floor of the New York Design Center, 200 Lexington Avenue, Penthouse Suite 1601, New York, NY 10016. Judges for the Hyland Awards 2014 included legendary mid-century modern designer Vladimir Kagan, British sculptor (and granddaughter of Sir Winston Churchill) Edwina Sandys and New York-based interior designer Michael Simon, along with Christopher Hyland and Hyland Magazine Editor Kyle Marshall.  Previous Hyland Lifetime Achievement Award recipients have included MOMA Modern Design Curator Juliet Kinchin and Architectural Digest Editor Emeritus Paige Rense.
