Manassas Insurance Agent Donates to Project Lifesaver

MANASSAS, Va. - Oct. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Manassas Allstate Insurance agency owner, Christine Angles recently volunteered at the Manassas Park National Night Out at Signal Hill Park, Manassas, VA. The event was sponsored by the Manassas Park Police, which included fun activities for families about safety info. The Manassas Park Police support Project Lifesaver.  Project Lifesaver International is a non-profit organization that bridges the technological gap for “at risk” populations and public safety agencies by providing police, fire/rescue and first responders with a comprehensive program including equipment and training to quickly locate and rescue “at risk” individuals with cognitive disorders who are at constant risk to the life threatening behavior of wandering including those with Alzheimer’s disease, Autism, and Down syndrome.

Angles and her Manassas, VA insurance agency staff were on hand in support of Project Lifesaver and pledged a donation for every insurance quote she received at the event. The Angles Insurance Agency also raised awareness of safe driving with Allstate’s X the TXT initiative, where drivers pledge not to text and drive. Keeping in line with the safety theme, Angles raffled off a roadside safety kit and handed out water bottles and basketballs to families who stopped by.
