LOVELAND, Ohio - Oct. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Cincinnati, OH – DAV and the military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at EverBank Field in Jacksonville on Thursday, November 6, 2014. DAV and RecruitMilitary are inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, personnel who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

DAV and RecruitMilitary expect more than 40 employers, franchisors, educational institutions, and government agencies to reserve exhibitor booths at the career fair. Already signed up are USAA; Schlumberger; The Home Depot; DeVry University; J Dog Junk Removal; U.S. Security Associates, Inc.; Rush Enterprises, Inc.; Troops to Teachers; Pet Paradise Resort; New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, Inc.; Bank of America; National Oilwell Varco; First Command Financial Planning; Cypress Truck Lines, Inc.; Noble Drilling Services, Inc.; DAV; Trident University International; Argosy University; Edward Jones; Military Sealift Command; TD Bank, NA; Walgreens; Regions Financial Corp.; Veteran Franchise Centers; General Electric; Core Link Surgical; Penske Truck Leasing; Roadmaster Drivers School; Prudential Insurance Company; Heavy Construction Academy; The Art Institutes; and Georgia College of Construction.

In addition, USAA’s local Wealth Management team is presenting a seminar prior to the career fair at 10:00 a.m. The seminar is titled “Practical Advice for All Stages of Retirement Planning.” All veterans are welcome to attend this session intended to provide information for veterans and spouses as they consider their future retirement.

DAV personnel will also be on hand to answer veterans’ questions about benefits and to provide them with other valuable information.

DAV was founded by World War I veterans in Cincinnati in 1920 and chartered by the United States Congress in 1932.
