CLEARFIELD, Pa. - Oct. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- A ground-breaking ceremony will be held at the site of the soon to be rebuilt Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield senior living community at 1300 Leonard Street.

The ceremony will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7.

Entertainment and refreshments will be provided. The public is invited to attend the ground breaking ceremony.

A fire destroyed the original Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield building on June 25, 2013. Thanks to quick action by Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield staff and residents, as well as the efficient work of multiple fire companies, police and first responders, all 60 residents safely were evacuated before the fire completely engulfed the building.

A temporary office has been used in Clearfield for several months to allow residents and family members to see floor plans and submit deposits for the new Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield.

Jerry Horn Construction, Inc., of Sewickley will handle the construction. Lami-Grubb Architects of Pittsburgh is the project’s architect.
