Austin Supergreen Solutions Business Wins Coveted Franchisee Of The Year Award

AUSTIN, Texas - Oct. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Jason Liburdi and Alejandro Mata, owners of SuperGreen Solutions in Austin, Texas, have won the International Franchise Association’s prestigious Franchisee of the Year Award. Liburdi and Mata were recognized for this honor on September 16^th, 2014 at the International Franchise Association Public Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C. Liburdi and Mata own and operate SuperGreen Solutions, located at 3010 W. Anderson Lane, suite F.

         Liburdi and Mata chose to go into the business of energy efficient products with plans to be advocates for providing cost effective options covering a range of prices. Liburdi left his job as Director of Marketing and Customer Experience at Pate-Dawson Southern Foods to start the business; Mata, meanwhile, travels monthly from Mexico, where he owns his own energy company Genergy, to help Liburdi run the company. In the store’s first year of operation Liburdi and Mata received “Highest Sales Achievement” and “MVP for the Franchise System” awards.

Liburdi and Mata have run their business with an eye toward educating those who may be resistant to changing how they meet their energy needs. “Not all customers are ready to make a full switch to energy efficient products. For some it’s because they’re concerned that they won’t remain in their homes long term. Others worry that seeing a return on investment will take too long. Regardless of their worries, we work diligently to offer each customer a solution that works best for them. A change as small as switching over to LED light bulbs can make a significant difference in energy costs,” Liburdi noted. Liburdi points to two unique features of SuperGreen which can assuage such skepticism. First is SuperGreen’s showroom, which provides customers with hands-on demonstrations of many of the company’s energy efficient solutions. Second is the company’s “customer advocate” principle which emphasizes the value of energy efficiency for customers.

SuperGreen currently has 18 locations in nine states, including California, Texas, Iowa, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Georgia and Colorado. The company has four additional locations under development, and is targeting California, Washington, Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania, among other strategic markets for growth. By the end of 2014, the company expects to have 70 stores open and plans call for a total of 300 locations within 3 to 5 years.
