oBand Medical Group Will Award One Deserving Humanitarian with a Free Lap Band Surgery

MIAMI - Oct. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- This month, the recipient of the surgery is Miami resident Luana Stowe, who has been chosen for her extensive volunteerism and impact with Neighbors4Neighbors. Neighbor4Neighbors is a nationally acclaimed nonprofit organization that focuses on connecting diverse populations, planning for, and responding to natural disasters and building community resources.

The announcement of Stowe’s surgery will be made during a seminar hosted by National Obesity Foundation on October 11th at the Signature Grand Conference Center located at 6900 State Road 84 Davie, FL 33317 from 11am to 2pm. During the “Live Healthy Seminar,” attendees will learn about the complexity of obesity and weight loss solutions, the psychological factors of obesity, and bariatric surgery, a surgical option that can help lead to a happier, healthier lifestyle. The seminar will be lead by Dr. Paul Wizman, Dr. Eric Valladares, and National Obesity Foundation Spokeperson and Olympic Gold Medalist, Shannon Miller.

Stowe’s surgery will be performed by Dr. Paul Wizman, and will take place after October 11th. The results of her surgery will be closely monitored and documented by representatives from the National Obesity Foundation.
