New anthology of funny anonymous poems published

Oct. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- TAP Publishing UK recently published another anthology of light verse entitled "ANON. A Mixed Bag Of Funny Poems – Author Unknown".

This new book is jam-packed with over 180 works in the Light Verse genre. It contains poems that are wry, witty, comical, crude, rude, vulgar and just plain silly. Covering subjects like: education, money, food, nature, life and death, all designed to amuse and stimulate the readers’ laughter muscles. Whether you’re a fan of alliteration, rhyming couplets, limericks, soliloquy, heroic ballads or parody, they’re all here in all their jolly, frivolous glory. There are also some slightly more highbrow parodies of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven and the To Be Or Not To Be soliloquy from Shakespeare’s Hamlet. As he is sometimes reputed to have been a bit of a Jester, it would be nice to prove that the great bard penned these himself and as their anonymous works, who knows he may well have done…
