arborMotion Supports the Ninth Annual SafeHouse Center’s Golf Event

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Oct. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- ArborMotion helped to support the Ninth Annual SafeHouse Center’s Golf Event presented by Thomson Reuters at the Lake Forest Golf Club in Ann Arbor on September 19^th, 2014. More than 120 golfers registered for this year’s event, in addition to a number of volunteers. This was ArborMotion’s sixth year of participation with SafeHouse Center’s golf event, and it was the largest and most successful one to date.

“We are so appreciative to all who came out and joined us for the 9th Annual SafeHouse Center Golf Outing,” said Barbara Niess-May, Executive Director of SafeHouse Center. “The support of the community is key to helping us provide vital services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The golf outing was a success due to the commitment of our sponsors, committee, volunteers, and of course the golfers. We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who participated.”

ArborMotion sponsors the “Long Distance Drive” contests at this event for both the men and women golfers. Additionally, one golfer is randomly selected at the beginning of the event to receive a full automotive detail by ArborMotion’s professional detailing division, Attention2Detail. The lucky winner’s vehicle is immediately picked up at the golf course by the ArborMotion team, brought back to the shop for full interior and exterior detailing, and is then returned to the golf course prior to the conclusion of the event. ArborMotion also sets up a hospitality tent at the 18^th hole in order to provide sustenance for the golfers as they work their way through the course.

In addition to the annual golf event, ArborMotion supports SafeHouse Center with its “Change Your Oil, Change A Life” program. ArborMotion and Castrol have partnered up for the past six years in order to donate 300 oil changes on an annual basis on behalf of SafeHouse Center. ArborMotion donates $50 towards its oil change service, and Castrol generously provides most of the oil. The customers donate a minimum of $35.00 directly to SafeHouse, and in exchange for their gift, they receive an oil change, a 27-point vehicle inspection, and a professional exterior hand wash (a combined value of over $120.00).
