Jerry Hall, Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, joins Zounds Hearing of Chattanooga

Zounds Hearing of Chattanooga brings new hearing technology to Chattanooga area

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Oct. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Chattanooga, TN, October, 2014 – Zounds Hearing of Chattanooga welcomes Jerry Hall, Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, as a member of their team. Zounds Hearing of Chattanooga is the latest store opening for Zounds Hearing, the fastest growing hearing aid company in the United States, and is located at 1511 Gunbarrel Road, Suite 107, Chattanooga, TN 37421.

A well-known fixture in the southeast Tennessee hearing industry, Hall comes to Zounds Hearing of Chattanooga after a long and distinguished career in the field of hearing devices. For over 36 years, he owned his own businesses, including Audient Service, Inc., Maaco Hearing Aid Service, Cleveland Hearing Aid Service and Central Hearing Aid Service, providing hearing screenings, hearing testing and fitting of hearing aids for those suffering from hearing loss throughout southeast Tennessee.

A long-time wearer of hearing aids himself, Hall now wears Zounds.  “There are a lot of hearing aids on the market that make claims of good performance, but don’t deliver,” he said. “I was extremely impressed with Zounds and found that they provide top quality technology, and they stand behind their product.  And if you ever need a repair, you don’t have to go without your aids for days or weeks. In most cases, Zounds makes the repair in store while you wait.”

Since 2003 Hall has served as a member of the Tennessee Hearing Aid Society Board including two terms as president and one term as vice president. The Tennessee Hearing Aid Society teaches and provides programs for Hearing Instrument Specialist continuing education credits. Additionally, the Tennessee Hearing Aid Society covers laws, rules and regulations that are required to maintain a hearing instrument specialist license in the state of Tennessee.

In 2012, Hall was appointed by Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam to the Council for Licensing Hearing Instruments Specialists Board, a position he continues to serve in today. The Council governs all complaints regarding Hearing Instrument Specialists and also handles all testing for new Hearing Instrument Specialists.

Hall recently traveled to Phoenix, Arizona to meet the Zounds Hearing team. While in Arizona, he met with several members of the Zounds engineering and product teams. “After spending time at the Zounds Hearing Headquarters, I can honestly say that Zounds hearing technology impresses me and that they have one of the best training programs available. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to train with.”

Much of Zounds’ success has been attributed to its ability to eliminate up to 90% of background noise (http://zoundschattanooga.com/features/), noise reduction, rechargeable battery station (http://zoundschattanooga.com/features/), and factory direct pricing.
